Ratings blockbuster So You Think You Can Dance featured footage shot by D S Simon on its August 4th, 2011 show (http://bit.ly/nifZKB). The footage was from a quick turnaround B-roll project promoting “National Dance Day”, a national health campaign encouraging people to get out and dance. Created in 2010 by Nigel Lythgoe, founder of Dizzy Feet Foundation and co-creator and executive producer of the top rated So You Think You Can Dance on Fox, “National Dance Day” is organized by Dizzy Feet Foundation and the Larry King Cardiac Foundation. The footage was used on Extra’s website (http://bit.ly/p0vd3y) and aired over 100 segments on stations and syndicated programs nationwide.

“Dance 4 Your Life!” released three instructional dance videos on their website (http://www.dance4yourlife.org/) and hosted the event at different locations, including The Sylvan Theatre on the National Mall in DC and at Six Flags Theme Parks in California, Georgia, Massachusetts and Texas on July 30th, 2011.
